Born in Los Angeles and raised in St. Louis, Mo., the former fashion director always had visions of starting her own business and becoming a true visionary for fashion. In 2004, Mariella Sheree began planning and producing her own fashion shows for local designers in the St. Louis area, while designing on the side. Soon, Mariella decided to take fashion into her own hands by developing her own collection: Five at Seven. Working from the beginning stages of illustration, research, and fabric construction to show production and presentation, Mariella Sheree’s collection have been viewed during St. Louis Fashion Week, St. Charles Fashion Week, the Pronto International Fashion Show, the Lindenwood Fashion Show, and UCAN charity Fashion Show. She also debut her collection at the Regional Arts Commission.
With a Bachelors degree in fine arts and a Masters degree in mass communications, she has also won several awards for her talents, including the Fine Arts Award, FGI ReDesign Finalist 2012, Design and Illustrations, Clean & Clear Design Finalist 2010, Lindenwood University’s Custom Jewelry Award, the 2009 Lindy Award for Best Television Entertainment Program, and the 2009 Lindy Award for Best On-Air Talent /News Programming.
